,,The Soviet Story”

Visiems, kurie nematė latvių režisieriaus Edvins Snore dokumentinio filmo ,,The Soviet Story”, (Čikagos ir apylinkių gyventojams buvo rodomas 2009 m.) yra gera proga pamatyti jį penktadienį, sausio 22 d., per Fox News (vakarinių Čikagos priemiesčių gyventojams - kabelinės TV 26 kanalas)  Glen Beck’o vedamoje laidoje ,,The Revolutionary Holocaust”  6 v.v.  - Vidurio vakarų laiku (Central time), o  rytinės pakrantės laiku - 5 v.v.(East time).

Laurynas Misevičius persiuntė Daris Delins iš New York laišką, skirtą tautiečiams:

,,The writer and director of ,,The Soviet Story”, Edvins Snore, will appear on a special edition of the Fox News Channel’s Glenn Beck Show on Friday, January 22, 2010 at 5:00 PM EST.

The program, titled ,,The Revolutionary Holocaust,” will also include highlights from his acclaimed and award-winning documentary film.

,,The Soviet Story” has already been screened on national TV in 10 European countries as well as on commercial TV in Israel, with screenings to follow in Asia and Australia during 2010. The film is currently also being aired by public broadcasting television stations in the United States. 

The director Edvins Snore will also be visiting Washington D.C. the week of January 25, 2010, appearing at the National Press Club in their ,,Afternoon Newsmaker” series.
 
,,The Soviet Story” is available on DVD. The 1st edition DVD, released in March 2009, includes subtitles in 15 languages (Czech, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish, Swedish and Ukrainian). 

A 2nd edition DVD, due for release January 25, 2010, will bring the total languages to 30, including: Belarusian, Bulgarian, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Danish, Dutch, Georgian, Japanese, Norwegian, Portuguese (Portugal), Romanian, Serbian, Slovenian, Turkish, and Vietnamese.
