Father Joe Roesch, MIC and our Provincial Father Kaz Chwalek, MIC… Father Mike Callea, MIC and all the Midwest Marians that helped us celebrate this auspices occasion… especially honored to have the Marians from Lithuania represented by Father Tomas Miliauskas, MIC… the Illinois Police Reserves (IPR)…the Knights of Columbus… Mr. Joe Hanrahan the Head of School from Marianapolis in Thompson, CT…what good has come of this through the intercession of our Blessed… a possible
student exchange program with the Marian High School in Marijampole,
Lithuania and Marianapolis Prep School in Thompson, CT… and the establishment
by Dr. Sidrys of the Blessed Jurgis Matulaitis, MIC Fund to assist the
Marians… a special “thanks” to Jerry Hurckus who assisted behind the scenes
and Ligija Tautkuviene for her journalistic assist… the Chicago media
covered this in both major newspapers and well as ABC 7 and NBC 5…let us
hope that all heard or read the accounts of our Blessed Jurgis, MIC…let us
especially pray as Father Roesch has said for that second miracle…so soon we
can say “Saint Jurgis Malulaitis, MIC”…
