I am forwarding information about an anti-Putin demonstration scheduled for September 27th by the UN. A planning meeting will be held on Thursday, September 10th. It would be great to get out a lot of Balts to show support for the Ukrainians. Putin wants to revive the Russian/Soviet Empire and after he is done with Ukraine and George, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania are on his next hit list. Every Baltic activist is invited to the meeting on Thursday, September 10th. If you cannot attend, please get other Estonians and Lithuanians to do so.
Hope to see you soon. Baiba Rudzitis Pinnis

Dear all,
The 70th Session of the United Nations General Assembly will open on Tuesday, September 15th. As we all know, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili and Russia’s dictator Vladimir Putin will be in attendance.
The AESC, Ukrainians, and Georgians are working together on the PERMITS needed to hold PROTESTS.
At this time we know that Putin will be speaking at the UN on Sunday, September 27 at 10/10:30 am and Poroshenko at 11-12, (no info on Margvelashvili).
Putin will arrive to the Russian Mission on 67th St. that Sunday for an overnight stay. We already have a permit there. On Monday morning, he will speak again before lunch ( time to be announced)
IT IS OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE AT THIS TIME IN HISTORY FOR ALL OF OUR COMMUNITIES TO UNITE AND STAND TOGETHER AGAINST THIS AGGRESSOR AND INVADER OF PEACEFUL COUNTRIES.
We ask all leaders of organizations and activists to attend a meeting to discuss the best ways to show our numbers!!!!
