Ji vyksta antradienį po Padėkos dienos, ir primena prasidedant šventiniam laikotarpiui dalintis gerumu bei stiprinti bendruomenes. Pasaulio lietuvių centras taip pat dalyvauja šioje tarptautinėje iniciatyvoje, o mes, suteikdami šiai dienai lietuvišką atspalvį, ją vadiname Giving LTuesday. Giving LTuesday Pasaulio lietuvių centre Šiais metais Giving LTuesday proga norime pakviesti Jus susipažinti su Pasaulio lietuvių centru ir jo veikla. Viršuje nurodytame vaizdo įraše mūsų administracijos darbuotojai, tarybos ir valdybos nariai bei kitų organizacijų, vykdančių veiklą centre, vadovai pristato, kas vyksta Pasaulio lietuvių centre ir kodėl ši vieta svarbi lietuvių bendruomenei. | Celebrate Giving Tuesday by Supporting the Lithuanian World Center Today Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity that brings people together to support the causes they care about most. Falling on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, it’s a chance to share kindness and strengthen community as the holiday season begins. The Lithuanian World Center is proud to join this international movement—and, adding our own Lithuanian touch, we celebrate it as Giving LTuesday. Giving LTuesday at the Lithuanian World Center This year, we invite you to learn more about the Lithuanian World Center and all that happens here. In the video above, our Administrative staff, Board and Executive Committee members, along with leaders of other organizations that use the Center, explain what takes place here and why it matters to the Lithuanian community. | Why Support the Lithuanian World Center? Your gift helps the Lithuanian World Center continue to provide welcoming and affordable space to more than 50 Lithuanian organizations, including the Blessed Jurgis Matulaitis Mission, Maironis Lithuanian School, and the Lithuanian Museum of Art. It also allows the Center to host community events, such as Užgavėnės, Music and Movie Nights, and our Holiday Craft Fair. Donations also support essential facilities maintenance and improvement projects, such as next year’s phase of fire prevention sprinkler installation on the first floor of the West Wing. They help cover everyday operating expenses like utilities, property taxes, and insurance, and provide opportunities for English-speaking Lithuanians to stay connected to their heritage through lectures and workshops. |

Lithuanian Museum of Art
Committed to the preservation of Lithuanian culture, the Museum sponsors lectures, concerts, poetry readings, art exhibits, and art classes.
Maironis Lithuanian Community School
A K-10 Friday & Saturday school, in session September through May. Lithuanian language, literature, history, folk singing and dancing.
