Renginį „Kalėdinių giesmių šventė… Mes stovime su Ukraina” (Festival of Carols… We Stand with Ukraine) organizuoja The Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art. Koncerte, skirtame paremti bei palaikyti Ukrainos žmones ir karius, DAINAVA atstovaus Čikagos lietuvių bendruomenę. Kalėdinių giesmių šventėje taip pat giedos lenkų, švedų, kroatų ir ukrainiečių chorai, o taip pat ir Šv. Vardo katedros moterų choras.
Renginio metu surinktos lėšos bus skirtos organizacijoms: „Help Heroes of Ukraine” ir UMANA (Ukrainian Medical Association of North America), kuri teikia medicinos reikmenis ukrainiečių kariams.
Pasidžiaugsime Šv. Mikalojaus katedros skliautuose skambančiomis kalėdinėmis giesmėmis ir melsimės už taiką visame pasaulyje.

The Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art will hold a fundraising concert
“FESTIVAL OF CAROLS…WE STAND WITH UKRAINE”
Choral groups from Chicago’s Croatian, Lithuanian, Polish, Swedish, and Ukrainian communities along with the Chicago Bandura Ensemble and the Women’s Chorus of Holy Name Cathedral, will participate in this holiday fundraising event that echoes the world’s unwavering support for Ukraine, its people, heroes, and leadership.
As Russia’s unprovoked unjust and barbaric war in Ukraine rages into its 10th month, the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art has organized this fundraiser with proceeds designated for two charitable organizations, Help Heroes of Ukraine, and UMANA (Ukrainian Medical Association of North America) which provide medical and humanitarian assistance.
As voices echo in the magnificent, towering domes of St. Nicholas Cathedral, we pray for peace and harmony around the world.
